On Thursday, June 13, an event was held in the Cineplexx cinema hall in the Gallery, which attracted the attention of leading experts in the field of human resources and business development. At the BPO Case Studies panel, we heard first-hand what Business Process Outsourcing means in practice and what benefits this business model brings.
After the introductory speech and a short film presenting BPO solutions (which you can watch by clicking here), the following shared their stories and experiences with us:
The panel was moderated by Ljiljana Medić, Strategic Account Manager on behalf of Manpower.
Marko Barišić opened the discussion, talking about the new project of JTI Company (Ploom), challenges and decisions that led to the delegation of field sales to an external supplier. Trust in the partner from the beginning was, according to his words, crucial for directing the team’s focus on key tasks, as well as the possibility of finding solutions for all needs in one place.
Dušan Bijelić shared his experience about expanding to the Adriatic region, with a special emphasis on the processes of choosing a location and negotiations, as well as the importance of support from an external partner in forming a team and overcoming challenges in the first months of cooperation. From Dušan, we learned how a BPO solution can be, besides strategic, a short-term but crucial move for stable business foundations at a new location. The cooperation continues, but in a different model that best suits their needs in the new phase of business.
Kosta Jović highlighted the changes that occurred with the integration of an external BPO provider, especially praising the success of team work between their and MPS Integration team. In addition to basic services, he emphasized the additional value that the BPO solution brought to their business, overcoming challenges and establishing a stable team already after two weeks. Kosta highlighted the importance of flexibility of the BPO partner and an approach that offers not only a service but a solution.
Srđan Starčević shared insights into the current internal processes of the Don Don Company with the attendees, emphasizing how they are continuously looking for improving efficiency and productivity. Considering the possibility of outsourcing, Starčević explained that the key advantage of BPO is the ability for the company to focus on its core business activities, while routine, less strategic tasks, are left to a reliable BPO partner.
What is common to our panelists and their companies is the recognition of the importance and strength of the BPO business model, as a choice of a reliable partner - MPS Integration Company, which is part of the Manpower holding.
Event participants left the hall with ideas on how BPO can be part of their business strategy for achieving the next level in business. At the cocktail part of the event, the attendees continued socializing and exchanging experiences and ideas about the mentioned business concept.
