Technical Pre-Sales Engineer into the launch team. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer technical support and care, leveraging a strong B2B sales perspective. The Technical Pre-Sales Engineer will serve as an interface between the sales team and customers, understanding customer requirements and providing technical expertise.
Job description• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise
• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate construction materials
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase material benefits and applications
• Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends, construction materials, and technological advancements
• Work closely with product development teams to provide customer feedback and influence product improvements
• Assist in the creation of proposals and technical solutions for tenders and bids
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry partners and stakeholders
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing support and fostering long term customer loyalty
• Ongoing proactive research and learning about new products, technologies and applications.
Job requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field (Technology, or similar)
• Experience in a technical pre sales or similar role within the construction industry (B2B experience)
• In depth knowledge of construction materials, particularly chemical ( gluing, natural, rubber) or wood related products
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex concepts to non technical audiences
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Customer support orientation and developed social skills
• Flexible for traveling
• Fluent in the English language
