On behalf of our client, Elrad Serbia d.o.o., one of the leaders in the production of electronic assemblies for power tools and household appliances, we are seeking a motivated candidate who can successfully meet the requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer position.The QA Engineer in the electronic industry plays a critical role in ensuring that products and processes meet customer expectations and comply with industry standards. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, conducting audits, and leading efforts to improve product quality. The ideal candidate will be motivated to provide performance in quality engineering, industry standards, and continuous improvement of electronic products quality and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related concerns and inquiries.
- Follow and improve quality plans, procedures, and guidelines to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections and internal audits throughout the manufacturing process to and participate in external audits ensuring that all quality requirements are clearly understood and communicated.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to identify potential quality issues and improve product quality.
- Perform root cause analysis on defects and non-conformances and lead systematic Root Cause Problem Solving to resolve issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement projects to reduce waste, improve processes, and increase product reliability.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality-related activities, including inspection reports, audit findings, and corrective actions.
- Prepare quality reports and metrics to management, highlighting trends, areas of concern, and improvement efforts.
- Ensure products comply with relevant industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years' experience in Quality Assurance.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO, VDA 6.3, Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
- Skills:
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause problem solving analysis and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, 8D, SPC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Good analytical skills and result oriented
