Production Accountant

On behalf of our client, Ocsial Group, the world's largest producer of graphene nanotubes, Manpower Serbia is seeking a motivated candidate for the role of Production Accountant.

Job Description:

The role is responsible for accounting and tax accounting of manufacturing expenses, finished goods at all stages, the formation of the cost of finished goods, the movement of finished products through the stages of production, and warehouse accounting of finished products. The position reports to the Chief Accountant of OCSiAl Balkan (locally).

Responsibilities (Tasks):

• Accounting for the movement of inventory items in the manufacturing process.
• Accounting for the release and movement of finished goods.
• Analysis of inventory consumption in manufacturing (standard costing & analysis of variances with actual expenses incurred).
• Participation in the development of normative/standard expenses and analysis of losses.
• Calculation of costing for semi-finished and finished goods.
• Accounting and analysis of expenses for damaged stocks.
• Accounting for production costs and formation of product cost.
• Participation in inventories.
• Participation in the analysis of the organization's activities.
• Participation in the automation of management and accounting processes based on ERP.

Required Qualifications:

• Higher education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production accounting in Serbian Accounting Standards and IFRS.
• Experience in conducting inventory counts.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent in Serbian and proficient in English.
