Our client is a global leader in the automotive industry, specializing in the development of innovative solutions for vibration control technology and lightweight components, with operations spanning over 10 countries and production sites worldwide, the company consistently sets the standard for quality and efficiency, supporting leading automotive manufacturers.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a motivated candidate to fulfill the position of Global Head of Production Engineering.
Job description: - Process Optimization: Develop strategies to improve production efficiency through the analysis and redesign of production processes, material flow, space utilization, and workforce deployment.
- Project Management: Lead key projects for process improvement, including the selection and implementation of new machinery, equipment, and technologies.
- Cost Control: Identify and implement cost-saving measures through efficient process design and resource management.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of industrial engineers and support staff. Provide training and mentoring to enhance expertise and promote best practices in industrial manufacturing.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with other department heads, particularly in production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to effectively support and achieve company objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements and ensure that results meet established targets.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all process improvements and implementations comply with applicable industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
Job description: - A completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Proven track record in improving production processes and implementing cost reduction programs.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English.
