Job
description
 
  • Implementation and development of KA growth strategy and recommend actions to meet goals.
  • Actively participate in distribution strategy (prospect, selection, evaluation of the POS according to Nespresso Strategic Plan);
  • Elaborate and implement KA plans and ensure main stakeholders (internal and external) are aligned with them
  • Develop sales strategies together with field structure at the POS level for Nespresso machine listing and activities execution
  • Establish a competitive set/risk management, using market Insight competition & shopper insight
  • Look and prospect for new national accounts. Assess their potential and develop together with the field organization    
  • Build strong relationships with existing and new accounts as well as a strong performance mindset, and nurture positive and efficient long-term relationships at all levels, including machine partners.
  • Negotiate with the KA the necessary actions and activities to establish Nespresso as a category leader
  • Generate interest/demand at the KA level in the category by communicating consumer trends & developments, and premium positioning of Nespresso.
  • Develop and implement incentive actions to motivate KA and POS Staff to keep Nespresso at top-of-mind.
  • Establish visibility strategy (# POS, type of installation, P2P,  machine display):  ensure the commitment to Nespresso's presence in all concerned stores.


Position Requirements
 
  • Successful track record with more than 3 years of experience in a sales environment in the distribution of high-end or mass-market products
  • Proven track record in Account Management or Business Development.
  • Category Manager in the retail industry
  • Premium Brand Management preferred
  • Demonstrating expertise in the household appliance category or the coffee branch will be a plus.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
  • Agility, entrepreneurial spirit, and growth mindset on a high level.
  • BSc degree in economics, business administration, or organizational sciences or relevant field.
