On behalf of our client, Tenfore, an electronic money institution and a leading company in the region in the field of payment services, we are looking for a candidate who will successfully meet the requirements of the Technical Writer position.The Role
As a Technical Writer, you will work closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to document complex systems, workflows, and APIs. Your work will be the foundation for knowledge sharing, onboarding, and compliance. You will translate technical and business concepts into well-structured documentation and engaging visual aids, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Documentation & Structure
- Produce comprehensive, structured documentation covering both technical and business concepts.
- Document software architectures, APIs, workflows, and system interactions in a manner accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect system changes and evolving best practices.
- Read and interpret codebases (Java, Spring, and other technologies) to extract key concepts for accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure technical accuracy in all written materials.
- Design and create diagrams to illustrate system architectures, workflows, and data flows using tools such as Mermaid.js, PlantUML, Draw.io, and Lucidchart.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging visual formats.
- Utilize markup languages (Markdown, AsciiDoc) for structured documentation.
- Manage documentation repositories using Git, ensuring version control and collaboration.
- Work within documentation platforms like Docusaurus, MkDocs, or Hugo to publish and maintain content.
Core Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing or related roles.
- Proven experience creating technical documentation (user guides, API docs, system overviews, etc.) for software products.
- Ability to read and understand code (particularly Java and Spring) to document technical concepts accurately.
- Proficiency with documentation tools and markup languages.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development environments.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and diverse audiences.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work cooperatively with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather and validate technical information.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all documentation.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to evolving technologies and business needs, with a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex technical information into digestible content.
