On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead and manage the sales efforts for a prestigious hotel property. This leadership role involves overseeing the sales team, developing strategic plans, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct leadership of the Sales team, with responsibility for the Sales and Events Budget/P&L, revenue forecasting, and business plan development.
- Maintain and implement effective strategies for sales and revenue management.
- Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of sales staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and goals.
- Develop market strategies, including pricing and competitive analysis.
- Manage and track departmental expenses, ensuring alignment with budget goals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by collaborating with other hotel departments and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports on financial booking performance and client acquisition.
Qualifications:- A minimum of 6 years of progressive hotel sales experience, with at least 5 years in a Director-level position for a large, full-service property.
- Proven success in leading a sales team and improving business results.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to use data analytics to develop effective sales strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management programs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Experience working with diverse teams and clients.
