On behalf of our client, a UK-based technology company, Manpower Serbia is searching for an experienced Frontend developer.
The company provides Platform-as-a-Service solutions to Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The company's platform is built on ServiceNow, a mature and rapidly evolving enterprise platform that leverages digital workflows to deliver customer and employee services. Their target customers are IT and telecommunications managed service providers, with their current client base primarily in the UK.
The candidate will be responsible for developing customer portals using ServiceNow's Service Portal framework. These portals, which are recognized as industry-leading in the MSP sector, are built to exceptional standards. Since the Service Portal framework is based on AngularJS, candidates should have experience with this or similar JavaScript frameworks. The role also involves learning to write server APIs for database operations.
All server-side scripting is performed in JavaScript using comprehensive, well-documented online APIs. Platform and Service Portal training will be provided at the start of employment.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to write high-quality, readable, and standardized code, with proficiency in SCSS and HTML5 being essential requirements.
Day-to-day the candidate will work with the team using Slack. The candidate will not necessarily be provided with UX designs for every feature or page they develop and therefore some design freedom will be given and intuition is expected. All project tasks are managed using agile stories and backlog, and releases to test and production environments are managed by the technical leads.
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to interact directly with customers and should ideally have experience in a customer-facing role. Strong English communication skills are essential. However, we are open to considering candidates without prior customer-facing experience who are eager to develop in this area.
