On behalf of our client, one of the most prestigious hotel located in the center of Belgrade, Manpower Serbia is searching for a candidate who will successfully fulfill the position of: Front Office Manager

Job
description:

 
  • Ensures efficient and effective operation of the Front Office department.
  • Creates an operating environment that assures guests are provided with an outstanding experience.
  • Actively trains, mentors, develops and encourages excellence from staff team members during daily operations.
  • Conducts employee performance evaluations and discipline communications. Prepares schedules and payroll sheets.
  • Actively involves in staffing for the Front Office team
  • Maintains product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints.
  • Suggests and implements improvements and corrective actions.
  • Ensures proper safety practices of employees and guests, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security measures.
  • Adheres to room rates as assigned by management.
  • Maintains room availability.
  • Performs check ins and check outs. Assigns rooms and keys.
  • Prepares bills and collects payments for visit. Assists in solving billing discrepancies.
  • Answers inquiries regarding hotel area and services.
  • Works with guests greets and welcomes guests; provides guests with places to visit, eat and shop; arranges transportation of guest; collects and distributes messages for guest.
  • Maintains hotel records.
  • Runs nightly reports as needed.
  • Performs week-end duties procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned from the relevant scope of work

Position requirements
  • Related front desk experience in a high volume hotel.
  • Experience in managing team.
  • High school diploma/College preferred.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
  • Very competent in Property Management Systems, Central Reservation Systems.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Good developed problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible work hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and wants of guests while balancing business needs of the Company.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks.
  • Passionate and creative.
