On behalf of our client, Lazure Hotel & Marina in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, ManpowerGroup Serbia is looking for motivated candidates for the position of: MICE & Groups Manager Responsible for all activities related to groups and events, including idea generation, organization, implementation, and supervision. Key focus on improving sales, coordinating all activities, and providing information to department heads and clients.
Job description:
- MICE Management:
- Develop strategies and objectives for events/groups in alignment with financial guidelines.
- Create and implement plans and budgets for private and corporate events.
- Proactively generate ideas for new events, especially during off-peak seasons.
- Lead proactive sales, marketing, and promotional activities for events.
- Coordinate event activities with department managers, third-party partners, and suppliers.
- Represent the hotel during client operations.
- Prepare budget projections and costs for service packages.
- Provide timely instructions to managers regarding future events/groups.
- Manage room blocks, rooming lists, proforma, invoices, and conference capacities.
- Group Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for groups staying at the hotel.
- Coordinate activities with department heads, third-party partners, and suppliers.
- Generate sales leads to attract new groups, particularly during off-peak seasons.
- Lead proactive and reactive sales, marketing, and promotion activities for groups.
- Follow up with groups to ensure customer satisfaction and gather feedback for service improvements.
- Communicate closely with department heads to ensure guest/group satisfaction.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and roadshows as required (local & abroad).
- Initiate special offers and other initiatives throughout the year.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key partner operators and travel agencies (local & abroad).
- Proactively seek new partners, negotiate contracts, and generate leads.
- Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of international experience as a MICE & Groups Manager or in a relevant managerial position at luxury hotels and resorts.
- Proficiency in presenting and writing in English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
