Millennial Managers? Think Again.

Instead of climbing the corporate ladder, Millennials are focused on learning the technical and personal skills to ensure long-term career security, according to a study released today by ManpowerGroup. Globally, Millennials prioritize pay and purpose. Asked about their career goals, 23% say earning a lot of money is a top priority, followed closely by making a positive contribution (21%) and working with great people (19%). They are looking for work they believe in and learning the skills to build a ‘career for me.’

It is time to rethink people practices to attract, retain and develop the next generation of leaders.
